Prayer and Faith Podcast - Prayer for the Oppressed

In this session we are praying for those who are bing oppressed or tormented by Satan.  Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and he desires for all of his children to be free of the Devil's oppression.   In this session, we pray for those who are being oppressed. Then we take the authority that Jesus has given us to put the enemy in his place.

Sudan: Praying for the Martyrs

In this session,, we conclude our prayer sets for Sudan.  Christians in Sudan face a great deal of persecution.  There are four Christians currently awaiting trial for the crime of endangering National Security:  Their crime- Helping an injured man from Darfur.  The penalty if they are found guilty - could be death.   In other cases people who convert to Christianity are considered apostates to Islam and can be sentenced to death.   So we are prying for a strengthening for our Brothers and Sisters in Sudan.

Sudan - Praying for Souls

As we continue our Prayer focus on Sudan - This is the second of three prayer sessions.   We are focusing on Souls.  Sudan is 97 percent Muslim which means they are lost.   That can change as we pray for the Lord of the Harvest to send laborers into his harvest.  .  We also ray that they will boldly proclaim the Gospel and that they will have signs following.  Join us as we pray for a transformation for Sudan through the salvation their people.

Sudan - Prayer for Justice

Periodically we will take time to pray for specific regions.  We are doing three prayer sessions concerning the nation of Sudan - which is one of the most corrupt nations in the world.   Large numbers of people have been murdered.   The church has been violently persecuted.  So in this the first prayer set we are praying for God to bring justice to Sudan and end the corruption and violence

Prayer for Kingdom business builders and entrepeneurs

Many in the Kingdom believe that wealth is bad and evil.  It's not it is a tool.  Now for some who can't handle it - it could lead to idolatry, but God does raise up Godly business owners who can give generously into the Kingdom of God. Does he need us or our money.  No.  He has everything, but God chooses to partner with us in his plans.  Most church building that have been built have been built because people gave.  Missions occur because people give for it.  God will raise up Godly men and women to create businesses large and small.   Those businesses can be a harvest field.  They can benefit people in the community by providing jobs.   They can benefit the entrepeneu;s family.  Most of all they can help finance efforts in the Kingdom of God.

Prayer for Resources to be Generous

God wants his children to be a generous people.   But to do that, there have to be resources available.  We will tackle that with several short prayers.   We will pray for wisdom for believers in the area of their resources and finances.  We pray for believers to get out of debt.   Then we pray for God to give us the ability to increase resources through new jobs, raises, and new businesses.

Prayer for a Generous Heart

God loves a generous giver - someone with a generous hear and he takes it very personally as we can see in Matthew - whatever, you did for the least of these my brethren - you did it to me.   God is abundantly generous and he wants his kids to share the same attributes.  Yet,  generosity, seems to be lacking in the church today.  We lack generosity towards many of our brothers and sisters, toward our neighbors and we lack generosity toward the church.   Yet generosity can open up the hearts of people to the gospel of Jesus Christ and is excellent representation of the Kingdom of God.  Join us on this journey as we ask the Lord to transform us to give us generous hearts.

Prayer for the Victims in the Syrian Civil War

The Civil War in Syria has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people and it has become a Gordian know with a variety of players.   Assad and his desire to retain power,  The Russians supporting him militarily in that effort.  The Rebels which oppose Assad, the Kurds which oppose Assad and ISIS which opposes everyone else.  Only the wisdom of God can bring peace to the region.  We pray for physical peace for that region,but we also pray for Spiritual peace that comes only from knowing Jesus Christ as savior.

Prayer and Faith Podcast: Praying for the Persecuted Church

In the world today, more of the church is experiencing persecution the at any other time in History.  Some of the persecution is from governments, some from other religions,  some of the persecution is coming from neighbors and even family members    In the west we are not experiencing much in the way of persecution, maybe a little harassment, but many of our brothers and sisters in Christ are being threatened, tortured, maimed, imprisoned or killed for their faith.  In this podcast we focus our prayers on these precious brothers and sisters in Christ

Prayer and Faith Podcast: Praying for Gifts of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit has a toolbox that he wants believers to use as we seek to make Jesus known to be witnesses of him and to expand the Kingdom of God - and that toolbox is called the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  But he needs someone to use those tools and that's you, the believer.   In this segment, we do as Paul said - we desire the gifts of the Holy Spirit - then we ask for them.   Jesus told us we have not because we ask not - so we are asking.   Because a believer who is humble and yields himself or herself to the Holy Spirti and his gifts can accomplish more in a moment sometimes than all the money, plans and resources that men or women can come up with.  Let the Holy Spirit make you more effective for the Kingdom of God.
